Banner Elk, a full-service
alpine snow ski and snowboard area that features a 1,200-foot
vertical drop, 18 slopes and trails and eight lifts. With an average
annual snowfall of 78" and state-of-the-art snowmaking equipment,
Sugar Mountain offers winter sports enthusiasts a fabulous white
playground. Besides Sugar
Mountain for skiing, the popular
Hawksnest Tubing Park is
located in nearby Seven Devils.
