Hildebran, North Carolina
Hildebran NC, incorporated in 1910, was
originally known as Switch but was later changed to Hildebran after
J. A. Hildebran, a local lumber dealer. Today, the town has nearly 1,800
residents. Each Christmas, this small community stages an annual
Christmas parade and is working to build its business and
industrial base. Hildebran is home also to the
Hildebran Farmer's Market, held every Thursday May through
October in the Town Hall parking lot.
