One of the country’s premier agricultural centers, the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center schedules over 50 events yearly, including 35 horse shows. The Center has a 65,000 square-foot fully enclosed show arena, with a 3,000-person seating capacity. There is also a 120ʹ x 240ʹ show ring, outdoor covered rings, and two outside, well lighted warm-up rings.
The Agricultural Center is host yearly to horse and livestock events, trade shows, RV and car shows, festivals, cat and dog shows, and many other events. This world-class multiuse facility is open year round. It is also home to the annual North Carolina Mountain State Fair.
