   The Trail of Faith is a walk-through outdoor trail showing the terrible religious persecution of the Waldensians in Northern Italy and their eventual settling in Valdese. Over nine life-sized exhibits are on the trail with more being added yearly. Summer evening dramas reenact the historic struggles of Waldensians.

Directions: From Asheville, take I-40 East to Exit 111. Take Carolina Street and turn left at traffic light and travel Main Street to Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street. The Trail of Faith is located on top of the hill to the right.
