Qualla Arts & Crafts Mutual, located on the Cherokee Indian
Reservation, is considered to be one of
the premier such organizations in any Indian community in America. The store
offers a wide range of traditional and contemporary Cherokee arts and crafts.
Groups are welcome to experience Qualla “Hands-On” and learn a specific art from
one of Qualla’s artists, even take home the special piece of work.

Directions: From Asheville take Interstate 40 west to exit 27 (Hwy. 74),
and travel west on Hwy. 74 to Exit 74 (the Cherokee/Great Smoky Mountains
National Park exit). Bear right on Exit 74 and proceed approximately five miles
on Hwy. 441 N to the fourth traffic light. Turn right and proceed about a half
mile to the next traffic light. Turn left onto Hwy. 441 N/Tsali Boulevard..
Proceed .6 mile to the next traffic light (intersection of Hwy. 441/Tsali
Boulevard and Drama Road). Turn left and the museum will be at 645 Tsali Boulevard.
