 The century-old
original
Mast
General Store is one of the best remaining examples of old country stores in
America. It has featured traditional clothing and quality goods since 1883.
There are four other Mast General Stores: Asheville, Boone, Hendersonville, and
Waynesville. However, the store in Valle Crucis is the original and as such, is
a landmark.
