The
Curb Market, in continuous operation in Hendersonville since 1924, offers home-grown fresh
vegetables and fruits, baked goods, home-made jams and jellies and gifts and
handicrafts of all kinds. It was started on Main Street in 1924 with eight sellers using
umbrellas and has grown to the present number of 137 selling spaces, with many
sellers being third and fourth generation. The sellers are required to be
residents of Henderson County and to make or grow all items sold.
