Green River Plantation, located in Rutherfordton, is a 42-room
Antebellum mansion build circa 1804-07 on 356 acres, and open to the
public for tours (by reservation only), and also hosts:
weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, parties, picnics & other
special events. The Green River Plantation is listed in the National
Register of Historic Places. If you are interested in seeing a
classic example of a southern plantation home, then a visit to Green
River will be worth the trip.
