The Jailhouse gallery is a public gallery dedicated to promoting the
art and crafts of Burke County artists and craftsmen as well as out
of state artists, and is run by the
Burke Arts Council, founded 1975, is a non-profit, tax-exempt
corporation funded by individual membership and corporate donors and
hosts three galleries which provide space for
both local and out of state artists.
