Pisgah Inn ($$ Blue Ridge Parkway): About an hour’s ride south on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Pisgah Inn is often shrouded in mists.  Wonderful relaxed atmosphere and great views out over the green valleys and rolling mountains. Pisgah View Ranch ($$ Candler): About 45 minutes south of Asheville in Candler and off the beaten path, this restaurant is famous for its wonderful home cooking and generous portions.
