Asheville with their performances and energy, the city is also visited by a
number of touring troupes, and “Folkmoot,” an international dance and folk
festival, is held every year in nearby Waynesville. Ballroom dancing is also popular in Asheville, and every year the
Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa hosts prestigious ballroom dancing competitions, including
the
Heritage Classic Dance Sport Championships.
